The Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, Ph.D., CON, has approved the suspension of the Education Secretary of Dandume Local Government, Umar Amir, following allegations of abuse of office.
According to a statement issued by the Secretary to the Government of the State, Abdullahi Garba Faskari, Esq., the suspension followed an allegation that Umar Amir sold land belonging to Abubakar Primary School, Unguwar Zango, to one Alhaji Kabiru of Tudun Ali, Dandume.
The statement, signed by the Director of Press in the office of the Secretary to the Government, Ibrahim Almu Gafai, said the governor has directed the Chairman of the Katsina State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) to investigate the matter and take appropriate action within seven days.
